I love this drama


A nice drama, interesting, the story is not boring, acting Lee min ho as lee yoon sung so total, and from some of articles that I read was in the making of this drama Lee Min Hoo only sleep 2 hours a day only, woww! And playing with Park Min Young as Kim Na-na is also very impressive in my eyes as someone who new likes drama korea. I love this drama.

This is a synopsis

City Hunter  merupakan drama korea yang terdiri dari 20 episode, di angkat dari cerita manga Jepang, (dengan nama yang sama) oleh Tsukasa Hojo. Buku ini diterbitkan oleh Shueisha dalam Weekly Shonen Jump 1985-1991. Tetapi dalam serial drama Korea City Hunter ini alur ceritanya sedikit mengalami perubahan dari cerita aslinya.
Lee Min Ho (yang dikenal sebagai Goo Joon Pyo dari Boys Over Flowers) adalah pemeran utama  sebagai Lee Yoon-seong , lelaki playboy, tampan, berkarisma, tetapi tidak tahu apa yang harus dilakukan di hadapan para wanita. Salah satu kelebihannya adalah bahwa dia seorang playboy yang mempunyai keterampilan dalam memecahkan misteri.
Park Min Young yang berperan sebagai Kim Na-na akan menjadi bunga cinta dari Lee Mi Ho dalam drama.
City Hunter ini menceritakan tentang city hunter yang ingin membalas dendam kepada orang-orang yang telah mengkhianati dan membunuh ayahnya pada 27 tahun lalu. Di sini Lee Min Ho yang berperan sebagai Lee Yoon Sung diculik oleh salah satu teman ayahnya Lee Jin Pyo yang menjadi salah satu pasukan elit yang berhasil selamat dari pembunuhan tersebut. Untuk itu Lee Yoon Sun (Lee Min Ho) diasuh dan diajarkan menjadi seorang pria tangguh di pegunungan Thailand. Tidak hanya itu saja Lee Yoon Sung pun juga dikirim ke MIT di Amerika Serikat untuk belajar teknologi informasi agar dapat masuk ke Blue House (Istana Kepresidenan Korea).
Setelah masuk menjadi tim MIT di Blue House Lee Yoon Sung pun bertemu dengan agen Kim Na Na yang diperankan oleh Park Min Young.  Sebelum bertemu dengan Kim Na Na, Lee Yoon Sung telah diingatkan oleh ayah angkatnya agar tidak jatuh cinta kepada seorang wanita, tetapi Lee Yoon Sung ternyata diam-diam menyukai agen Kim Na Na.

APA ITU TOEFL ?
TOEFL adalah singkatan dari Test Of English as a Foreign Language (Test Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing), yang diorganisir oleh sebuah lembaga di Amerika Serikat yang bernama ETS (Educational Testing Service).
Pada awalnya, TOEFL diperlukan bagi para pelajar di negara-negara yang bahasa utamanya bukan bahasa Inggris, tetapi ingin melanjutkan studi ke negara-negara yang bahasa resminya adalah bahasa Inggris, seperti Amerika Serikat, Kanada, dan negara-negara Eropa Barat.
Ini diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa siswa-siswa dari negara berbahasa non-bahasa Inggris tersebut dapat mengikuti perkuliahan di negara berbahasa Inggris dengan baik. Antara lain untuk :
1.     Memastikan bahwa mahasiswa tersebut memahami uraian yang diberikan dosen dalam bahasa Inggris (listening skill).
2.     Mahasiswa memahami buku-buku textbook yang diwajibkan (reading skill).
3.     Mahasiswa mampu membuat tulisan ilmiah dengan tatabahasa yang benar (writing & grammar skill).
Untuk dapat diterima di negara-negara barat, calon mahasiswa haruslah memiliki TOEFL score minimal 500 (Eropa), bahkan untuk di Amerika Serikat, TOEFL score yang disyaratkan adalah 550. (Nilai maksimal TOEFL Paper Based Test adalah 677).

PERLUASAN PENGGUNAAN TOEFL
Seiring perkembangan zaman, bahkan negara-negara yang bahasa ibunya bukan bahasa Inggris, seperti Jepang, Korea, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, dll mensyaratkan TOEFL Score tertentu bagi calon mahasiswanya, baik yang datang dari dalam negeri, apalagi jika berasal dari luar negeri. Di Indonesia, TOEFL bahkan digunakan juga untuk :
·         Persyaratan bagi penerimaan karyawan baru di instansi pemerintah, perusahaan pemerintah dan swasta.
·         Syarat penerimaan mahasiswa baru untuk jenjang S2 dan S3.
·         Syarat pengajuan beasiswa, baik dari pemerintah maupun swasta.

PERKEMBANGAN TOEFL
TOEFL sendiri sudah beberapa kali mengalami penyempurnaan oleh lembaga penyelenggaranya, ETS. Bentuk-bentuk TOEFL Test yang pernah diperkenalkan ke publik yaitu :
1.     TOEFL Paper Based Test
Terdiri atas 3 section : Listening, Structure, and Reading
Maximum Score : 677
2.    TOEFL Computer Based Test
Terdiri dari 4 Section : Listening, Structure, Reading, Writing
Maximum Score : 300
3.    TOEFL Internet Based Test
Terdiri dari 4 section : Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking.
Maximum score : 120.

Meskipun resminya, sejak TOEFL Internet Based Test diperkenalkan di seluruh dunia, maka jenis sebelumnya tidak berlaku lagi, tetapi kenyataannya sampai saat ini, TOEFL Paper Based Test masih digunakan secara luas di berbagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi maupun untuk rekrutmen karyawan di Indonesia, atau di negara-negara yang bukan berbahasa Inggris.

The warm climate for outdoor activities, the need for preparedness in war, and their lifestyle caused the Greeks to create competitive sports. Only the elite and military could participate at first, but later the games were open to all free Greek males who had no criminal record. The Greeks emphasized physical fitness and strength in their education of youth. Therefore, contest in running, jumping, discuss and javelin throwing, boxing, and horse and chariot racing were held in individual cities, and the winners competed every four years at Mount Olympus. Winners were greatly honored by having olive wreaths placed on their heads and having poems sung about their deeds. Originally these contests were held as games of friendship, and any wars in progress were halted to allow the games to take place. They also helped to strengthen bonds among competitors and the different cities represented.
                The Greeks attached so much importance to the games that they calculated time in four-year cycles called “Olympiads,” dating from 776 B.C. The contest coincided with religious festivities and constituted an all-out effort on the part of the participants to please the gods.
